JOB DETAILS:
Kibo Palace Hotels & Resorts is seeking a skilled, creative, and customer-focused Barman / Bartender to join its team in Moshi.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of beverages, including classic cocktails and innovative signature drinks. The role also involves creating a welcoming bar atmosphere, providing excellent guest service, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with cash-handling and responsible alcohol service procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, mix, and present a wide range of beverages in accordance with the hotel’s quality and presentation standards.
- Create classic cocktails and innovative signature drinks to enhance the guest experience.
- Engage guests professionally, recommend suitable beverages, and maintain a welcoming and enjoyable bar atmosphere.
- Manage bar inventory, prepare requisitions, and maintain proper organisation of the bar area.
- Follow established cash-handling procedures and ensure that receipts are accurately balanced at the end of each shift.
- Promote responsible alcohol service in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations.
- Implement upselling initiatives to increase beverage sales and improve guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and appropriate presentation of the bar area.
- Contribute to a positive guest experience through professional service and effective communication.
