Background
Niajiri Platform Ltd is seeking an ERPNext Consultant to join its Information Technology team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The successful candidate will work closely with customers and the product team to understand business processes, configure suitable solutions, train users and help clients achieve their business goals.
Job Description
As an ERP Consultant, you will understand customers’ processes, help them map those processes to the product, work closely with the product team, train users and help clients achieve their business goals. This role will test both your analytical and persuasive skills.
Key Responsibilities
The ERPNext Consultant will be responsible for the following:
- Gather and document clients’ business and technical requirements.
- Map client requirements against the relevant solution’s out-of-the-box functionality to determine whether any gaps exist.
- Gather and document any pain points, issues or challenges experienced by clients with their current systems and operations.

Generate and prepare comprehensive project documents, including:
- Business and technical requirements
- Required implementation phases and steps
- Time and effort estimates
- Progress and status reports
- Identification and remediation of blockers and risks
- Documentation and socialization of assumptions, decisions and dependencies
- Configure software solutions and systems within the project scope during implementation and upgrade projects to meet defined business and technical requirements.
- Support clients as they conduct User Acceptance Testing for solutions and systems within the project scope.
- Deliver end-user training for solutions and systems within the project scope to local and international clients.
- Create and maintain client-facing operational documents within the project scope.
- Support internal teams, clients, vendors and other relevant third-party teams during pre-go-live and post-go-live scenarios.
- Obtain and maintain all relevant required certifications.
- Coordinate with all project team members to deliver regular progress updates and reports to the immediate manager.
- Support the organization’s strategic, technical and operational activities as directed by management.
- Be willing and available to travel locally and internationally for work.
- Undertake onsite assignments lasting from one week to three months at a time.
Education and Experience Requirements
Candidates should meet the following requirements:

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in one of the following fields:
- Business Administration
- Finance
- Supply Chain Management
- Three years of experience, as indicated in the job overview.
- Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
