CIVIL ENGINEER
Location: Lusaka, Zambia (with travel to project sites) Employment Type: Full-time Contract Experience: Minimum 5 years
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out quantity take-off from architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Prepare accurate BOQs and cost estimates.
- Calculate and manage material requirements with wastage allowances.
- Track project costs, assess and document variations.
- Monitor site progress, update project schedules and identify delays.
- Maintain project and material records and prepare final accounts.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying (Diploma with strong experience may be considered).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in quantity surveying, BOQ preparation and project monitoring for building or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in fuel station, commercial or retail construction is a strong advantage.
- Registration with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) or a relevant professional body is preferred.
