Position: Talent Acquisition Manager
Locations: Islamabad, Pakistan; Dakar, Senegal; Dar es Salaam, Tanzania; Antananarivo, Madagascar; Dubai
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources.
- At least 8 years of experience in Talent Acquisition.
- Experience in the fintech or technology sector is strongly preferred.
- Experience working across African markets is preferred.
- Fluency in English is required.
- French is an added advantage.
Your Profile
- Experience designing end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Strong skills in structured interviewing and scorecarding.
- Experience designing work samples, case studies, and basic psychometric selection processes.
- Strong sourcing capabilities, including LinkedIn Recruiter, talent communities, universities, bootcamps, and referrals.
- Experience with employer branding, including Employer Value Proposition (EVP) activation, content calendars, role landing pages, and basic SEO/SEM.
- Experience evaluating assessment tools and vendors.
- Ability to create assessment rubrics and cut scores and track validity and reliability.
- Candidate-focused approach that balances high standards with a respectful, transparent, and engaging candidate experience.
- Comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change quickly.
- Strong collaboration skills and humility when working with business teams.
- Open to feedback and able to co-build recruitment processes.
- Data-driven mindset, with the ability to use recruitment funnel metrics and source ROI to improve strategies and influence decisions.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into compelling talent stories for candidates at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full end-to-end recruitment cycle at headquarters level, including calibrated job descriptions, structured interviews, scorecards, work samples, tests, references, and candidate NPS.
- Codify company culture into hiring practices through Talent Acquisition guidelines and assessments aligned with company values.
- Define and launch the Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and its narrative across all candidate touchpoints.
- Design and implement assessment tools, including case banks, psychometric assessments, and culture-fit tests for different role families.
- Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) systems, and recruitment dashboards.
- Monitor key recruitment metrics, including time-to-hire, source ROI, and Talent Acquisition quality.
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with applicable local labor laws.
- Build the employer brand in collaboration with Brand and Communications teams.
- Develop an employer branding content engine, social media presence, and employee storytelling initiatives.
- Develop sourcing partnerships with universities, bootcamps, and technology communities.
- Develop alumni and diaspora talent programs.
- Build talent pipelines for critical positions, including senior management and executive roles.
- Map the fintech talent market across the group's geographic footprint.
- Coach and harmonize Talent Acquisition practices across different countries.
- Roll out the global Talent Acquisition playbook and interview kits.
- Support the local implementation of the Employer Value Proposition across different markets.
