Background
Peritus Engineering TZ Limited is an infrastructure development organization with operations in Asian and African markets. The company is seeking an experienced Admin & Compliance Officer to oversee administration, regulatory compliance, permits, statutory requirements, and government stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day administration and ensure compliance with applicable Tanzanian laws and regulations.
- Handle work permits, residence permits and immigration compliance for foreign employees.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, CRB, Labour, Immigration, BRELA, TRA, NSSF, WCF, Fire & Rescue and other relevant authorities.
- Manage company licenses, permits, certificates, renewals and statutory registrations.
- Coordinate government inspections, audits and regulatory correspondence.
- Maintain accurate compliance records and monitor expiry dates.
- Ensure compliance with construction industry regulatory requirements.
- Prepare regular compliance reports and advise management on regulatory matters.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Public Administration or a related field.
- 5-7+ years of relevant experience, preferably within a construction or engineering company.
- Proven experience handling foreign workers' work permits and immigration requirements.
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian government and statutory compliance requirements.
- Practical experience dealing with OSHA, CRB and other regulatory authorities.
