Background

SINORAY Company Limited is seeking a Marketing Officer in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This role is part of the company's operations in the motorcycle and mobility industry, which includes supplying motorcycles, tricycles, spare parts, and related products, as well as engaging in motorcycle manufacturing and international trade. The company has business activities in Tanzania and other African markets.

Responsibilities

The Marketing Officer is responsible for promoting SINORAY’s products, increasing brand visibility, identifying potential customers and supporting sales growth. The position involves working with the Sales, Customer Service and Management teams to implement marketing initiatives.

• Plan and implement marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Identify business opportunities and support sales initiatives.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
• Promote products through social media, digital platforms and traditional marketing channels.
• Manage the company’s online presence and social media accounts.
• Coordinate exhibitions, promotional events and product activations.
• Prepare marketing reports and assess campaign performance.
• Maintain productive relationships with customers and business partners.
• Collaborate with sales colleagues to achieve business targets.
• Ensure marketing activities follow company policies and brand standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations or a related discipline. Previous experience in marketing, digital marketing or sales is an added advantage rather than a stated mandatory requirement.
