Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Hotel Receptionist serves as the primary point of contact for hotel operations, ensuring a welcoming environment, managing customer inquiries, maintaining guest records, and coordinating front-desk administration.
Customer Care & Reception:
Greet arriving guests with a warm, professional demeanor and guide them to appropriate personnel or service counters. BookingHistorical Guided Tours
Inquiry Management:
Handle incoming telephone calls and address customer questions regarding operational hours, room/product availability, and hotel policies.
Front-Desk Administration:
Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area while managing visitor flow to ensure minimal waiting times.
Guest Records & Appointments:
Register incoming clients, schedule appointments/consultations, and log customer details accurately into the system.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Collaborate with hotel staff across departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
Certificate or Diploma in Front Office Operations, Customer Care, Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of practical experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer service role.
Experience within hospitality, healthcare, or retail environments is an added advantage.
Technical Skills:
Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel) and familiarity with standard office equipment (printers, multi-line phone systems).
Core Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal capabilities, high level of integrity, and professional presentation.
