JOB DETAILS:
BAOBAB INSTITUTE OF TANZANIA (BIT)
Job Purpose: To provide clinical instruction and medical training to students, and to support the delivery of competent clinical practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach clinical medicine courses, including diagnosis, treatment, and patient management.
- Facilitate clinical rotations and bedside teaching.
- Develop and review course materials and assessments.
- Supervise student projects and clinical practice.
- Assess student performance and maintain academic records.
- Participate in curriculum development and quality assurance.
- Mentor students and provide academic and professional guidance.
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and ethical standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent.
- Registration with a relevant medical council and valid practicing license.
- Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience (teaching experience is an added advantage).
- Master’s degree in a clinical specialty is preferred.
