Job Overview

New Shamba Bar, located in Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam, is seeking an experienced, proactive, and dynamic Bar Manager. The successful candidate will oversee daily bar operations, manage bar staff, control inventory, and drive venue revenue while ensuring exceptional service delivery and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and streamline day-to-day bar operations, maintaining high operational and cleanliness standards.
• Supervise, schedule, train, and coordinate bar staff and service personnel.
• Monitor daily sales, manage beverage inventory, conduct regular stock counts, and prevent shrinkage.
• Develop strategies to boost sales revenue, improve venue profitability, and elevate customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and submit regular operational, financial, and stock management reports to ownership/management.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Business Management, Food & Beverage Operations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven success managing a bar, lounge, or restaurant.
• Strong hands-on staff supervision and operational management abilities.
• Demonstrated skills in stock management, inventory control, and retail sales monitoring.
• Excellent customer service orientation, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
• High level of personal integrity, discipline, transparency, and accountability.
