Masika Ventures is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join its team as a Finance Officer . If you have a passion for numbers and strong attention to detail, you are invited to apply.

The position requires a combination of creativity and attention to detail. The successful candidate should be able to think outside the box, take initiative, demonstrate a "get it done" attitude, and apply strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support the maintenance of the company's general ledger and chart of accounts.
- Help ensure compliance with local tax laws.
- Track expenses, budgets, taxes, cash flow, receipts, and other financial transactions of the company.
- Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Identify and report financial variances.
- Analyse current and historical financial data and performance.
- Make recommendations aimed at improving profitability.
- Perform other tasks related to the company's financial operations and general business activities as assigned.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a relevant field.
- Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent financial reporting skills.
- Highly developed communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to multitask.
- Trustworthiness and absolute discretion at all times.
- High levels of energy and drive.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
Nice to Have
- Accounting or Finance certification is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
- More than 2 years of work experience in finance or accounting is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills.
