Roles and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Planning, coordinating, and overseeing the company's logistics and transportation operations.
- Managing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods to ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinating transportation schedules, deliveries, and logistics activities.
- Monitoring logistics operations to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Supervising logistics activities and ensuring proper coordination across the supply chain.
- Identifying and resolving logistical challenges to minimise operational disruptions.
- Maintaining accurate logistics records and preparing operational reports.
- Ensuring effective communication and coordination with suppliers, transporters, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
- Experience in logistics and transportation.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Good computer skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Two to three years of relevant experience is preferred.
