Laryan Company Limited is a growing hospitality business committed to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high operational standards. We are seeking an honest, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Cashier to support accurate financial transactions and efficient daily operations.

Job Purpose.

To process customer payments accurately, maintain proper transaction records, and provide courteous service while ensuring accountability and compliance with company cash-handling procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Process cash, mobile money, card, and other approved payment transactions accurately.
• Prepare and issue receipts, invoices, and bills to customers.
• Verify bills and ensure that payments correspond with the services provided.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Reconcile cash and payment records at the end of each shift.
• Report cash discrepancies, transaction errors, and suspicious activities promptly.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of cash, financial records, and customer information.
• Respond professionally to customer inquiries regarding bills and payments.
• Coordinate with waiters, supervisors, and management to resolve billing issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station.
• Follow company procedures for refunds, discounts, voids, and payment adjustments.
• Perform other reasonable duties related to the role as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements.

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous cashiering / accounting experience, preferably in a restaurant, hotel, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems are desirable.
• Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
• Good English communication skills to assist local and international customers professionally.
• High level of honesty, integrity, accuracy, and accountability.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
