Job Summary

The Bellman is the first and last point of physical contact for guests. This role is responsible for providing a warm welcome, handling luggage, escorting guests to rooms, and providing information about the hotel's facilities and local area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Valid Driver’s License (preferred).
• Excellent physical fitness (able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently).
• Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.

• Greet guests upon arrival, open doors, and assist with luggage unloading.
• Handle luggage storage and retrieval upon departure.
• Escort guests to their rooms, explain room features (TV, climate control, safe), and ensure the room meets expectations.
• Provide information regarding hotel services, restaurant hours, and local attractions.
• Assist with parking guest vehicles when required (if certified) or coordinating with the valet team.
• Maintain a neat and professional lobby appearance; assist with light housekeeping or tidying of public areas.
• Deliver parcels, messages, and newspapers to guest rooms promptly.
