About the Role
The Fundraising & Resource Mobilization Officer implements fundraising strategies and secures resources from diverse donors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research funding opportunities.
- Develop proposals, concept notes, and fundraising appeals.
- Cultivate and steward individual, corporate, and institutional donors.
- Organize fundraising campaigns and events.
- Track and report on fundraising targets and pipeline.
- Maintain donor databases and records.
- Support donor communications and acknowledgments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Development, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 3–5 years of fundraising experience.
- Strong proposal writing and donor research skills.
- Knowledge of CRM/donor management systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Competencies
Fundraising · Proposal writing · Donor cultivation · Campaign management
Professional experience is an advantage. However, demonstrated capability, commitment, and leadership potential will also be considered.
