JOB DETAILS:

Amboni Group of Companies Ltd is a group of businesses operating in Tanzania, with vacancies available across its businesses in Dar es Salaam and Tanga. The company is seeking qualified and experienced accountants to support its financial management, reporting, compliance, and accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for the following duties:

• Maintaining accurate accounting records and general ledgers.
• Preparing financial reports and performing account reconciliations.
• Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payments.
• Preparing statutory returns and ensuring compliance with applicable tax requirements.
• Monitoring budgets, costs, inventory, and fixed assets.
• Maintaining effective financial controls and supporting internal and external audits.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least three years of relevant work experience.
• CPA(T) or ACCA qualification will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
