Background
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Storekeeper to support our operations team in managing inventory, receiving and issuing stock, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring proper storage and availability of materials and supplies.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and verify them against relevant documents.
- Properly store, label, and organize all inventory items.
- Issue materials and spare parts against authorized requisitions.
- Maintain accurate stock records in the inventory system.
- Conduct regular stock counts and report any discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and prevent shortages of critical items.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and secure store environment.
- Coordinate with Procurement and end users to ensure the timely availability of essential materials used.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement and Supplies Management, Materials Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory management.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, with experience in SAP, ERP, or other inventory management systems.
- Ability to maintain accurate stock records, conduct stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and prepare inventory reports.
- Ability to work in an industrial environment and safely handle materials and equipment when required.
- Strong attention to detail, honesty, teamwork, and communication.
