WAJAMAMA is a women's health organisation founded by Nafisa Jiddawi, a U.S. triple board-certified family, women's and maternal health clinician. Our nonprofit arm runs Group Care for mothers and families in Zanzibar, Tanzania, and redesigns how Zanzibar's public facilities and workforce deliver maternal and child health care, building a government-owned model for safe, comprehensive and trauma-informed care that can be adapted across sub-Saharan Africa.

We're developing a new, self-sustaining health and wellness venture that will fund this mission. The concept and early numbers are in place. Now we need an experienced consultant to help us get them right.

What you'll do:

  • Review our draft model and test our assumptions
  • Build a 5-year financial model with scenarios and sensitivity analysis
  • Model the funding structure, ownership and investor returns
  • Help shape an investor-ready business plan and pitch summary
  • Hand over a model our team can run ourselves

Who we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of financial modelling and business planning for new ventures
  • Projections that investors, lenders or funders have relied on
  • Clear, plain-English communication
  • A plus: health, wellness or clinic businesses in the US, social enterprises, capital raising, and work in Africa

The details:

  • Fixed-fee project, fully remote
  • Timing: the faster the better, without compromising quality. Tell us how quickly you can deliver
  • We review proposals as they arrive and may appoint early

How to apply:

Email a proposal of up to 4 pages (your background, approach, timeline, fixed fee, relevant work and 2 references) to [email protected] with the subject "RFP: Financial Modelling Consultant".

Proposals due: Tuesday 17 November 2026

Questions welcome until Thursday 12 November

The full RFP is available on request. Please share with anyone in your network who'd be a great fit.
