Job Summary
Mufindi Paper is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor for the Kasulu Sugar Project in Tanzania. The ideal candidate will oversee daily workshop operations, lead technical staff, coordinate maintenance schedules, and manage heavy machinery logistics to ensure seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management: Supervise daily workshop activities, workflow, and technical staff to ensure efficient project execution.
Logistics & Procurement: Coordinate workshop logistics, parts procurement, and supply chain activities to minimize equipment downtime.
Maintenance Oversight: Oversee routine servicing, preventive maintenance schedules, and major repairs for heavy machinery & vehicles.
Quality & Safety Control: Ensure all work meets strict quality standards and that workshop safety protocols are strictly followed.
Team Coordination: Manage daily task allocations, coordinate with field teams, and maintain clear maintenance logs and records.
Candidate Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 12+ years of proven hands-on experience in a similar field, including workshop management.
Qualifications: Minimum degree in Automotive Engineering.
Leadership Skills: Strong supervisory capabilities with excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of heavy equipment maintenance, spare parts coordination, and workshop logistics.
