Sanlam Allianz Investments Ltd (SAIL) is a regional fund management company with a strong track record in service delivery and investment performance. The company is seeking a qualified, proactive, and results-oriented Financial Advisor to join its Unit Trust Distribution Team in Tanzania.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting investment products, acquiring new clients, managing client relationships, and contributing to the growth of the company’s Assets Under Management (AUM).
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and distribute Unit Trust and other investment products in line with the company’s sales strategy.
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients across retail, corporate, and institutional segments to drive growth in Assets Under Management (AUM).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Achieve agreed sales, revenue, and asset growth targets through proactive business development activities.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, ensuring effective lead generation, follow-up, and conversion.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to generate new business opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to deepen existing client relationships through additional investments and cross-selling initiatives.
- Plan and execute client engagement activities, investor education forums, and business development events to support business growth.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and client onboarding procedures.
- Adhere to company policies, risk management requirements, compliance procedures, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Perform any other responsibilities outlined in performance objectives or assigned and communicated by management from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in sales, business development, client relationship management, or a similar role.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to organize and coordinate events while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong client acquisition and relationship management skills.
- A high level of professionalism, integrity, and customer focus.
- A proactive, results-oriented approach and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- An interest in Unit Trusts is an added advantage.
