JOB DETAILS:
The Bagamoyo Institute of ICT (BIT) is seeking to fill two vacancies for the position of Medical Doctor / Tutor in Clinical Medicine. This role involves both clinical practice and teaching responsibilities within the institute.
Responsibilities:
As a Tutor in Clinical Medicine, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students in clinical medicine. This includes developing and delivering lectures, conducting practical sessions, and assessing student performance. You will also be expected to stay updated with the latest advancements in medical education and clinical practice. As a Medical Doctor, you will provide medical services as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Applicants must possess a recognized Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Education, or an equivalent qualification, in the relevant subject(s). Fluency in both spoken and written English is essential, along with excellent communication skills. High self-discipline, demonstrated integrity, punctuality, accountability, and professionalism are required. Applicants should be self-motivated, proactive, hardworking, innovative, and results-oriented. A strong command of subject content, modern learner-centered teaching methods, and effective assessment practices are necessary. Applicants must also demonstrate good moral character, being God-fearing, patient, responsible, and genuinely committed to children's welfare.
Experience:
Proven teaching experience and a strong record of academic achievement will be considered added advantages.
