JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Medical Attendant to provide medical care in our healthcare facility.
Medical attendant is responsible for recording vital signs, assisting doctors with a diagnosis, and completing paperwork.
To be successful as a Medical attendant you must be patient and have excellent attention to detail.
A good Medical attendant keeps all patient information confidential and provides care without prejudice.
Medical attendant responsibilities
- Assisting with patient mobility and hygiene.
- Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate.
- Feeding, transporting patients and equipment, maintaining ward cleanliness and restocking supplies.
- Providing general support to healthcare professionals and patients.
Qualifications and requirements
- Certificate of medical attendant.
- Prior experience as medical attendant.
- A qualification in medical attendant.
- Ability to work 24-hour shifts.
- Patience with difficult patients.
- Compassion for patients.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
