A wood workshop seeks an experienced and suitably qualified Workshop Manager to oversee woodworking operations, manage the workshop team and ensure quality workmanship and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
Plan and supervise daily woodworking activities and ensure timely completion of orders.
Manage workshop operations, materials, machinery and equipment maintenance.
Lead and coordinate the team, allocate duties and monitor performance.
Ensure quality control throughout production and before delivery.
Liaise with clients on specifications, progress and service concerns.
Maintain a safe, organised and productive working environment.
Qualifications and experience
Technical certificate in woodworking, carpentry, joinery or a related field.
Proven experience in the woodworking industry, including workshop supervision or management.
Sound knowledge of woodworking machinery, materials, production methods and finishing techniques.
Strong leadership, planning, communication and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to quality workmanship and client satisfaction.
