JOB DETAILS:
The Gardener Supervisor will perform the following duties:
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of gardeners in carrying out daily gardening activities.
- Assign duties and monitor staff performance to ensure quality work.
- Develop and implement weekly and seasonal gardening schedules.
- Plan watering, pruning, planting and landscaping activities.
- Supervise the planting, trimming, fertilizing and general maintenance of flowers, trees, lawns and other greenery.
- Ensure proper maintenance of walkways, fences and outdoor furniture.
- Ensure the correct use and maintenance of gardening tools and equipment.
- Monitor inventory and request supplies, including seeds, fertilizers and tools, when necessary.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A Certificate or Diploma in Horticulture or a related field.
- Fluency in both English and Swahili.
- Ability to supervise gardening activities and coordinate daily tasks.
- Willingness to ensure the proper care and maintenance of landscaped areas and gardening equipment.
