JOB DETAILS:
M-Gas Resources Limited is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee its vehicle operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fleet Operations Management: Oversee the daily routing, scheduling, dispatch, and operational deployment of company vehicles and assets.
- Maintenance & Asset Protection: Implement preventive maintenance schedules, manage repair workflows, and ensure minimal vehicle downtime.
- Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Enforce occupational health and safety standards, vehicle inspection protocols, road traffic laws, and insurance policies.
- Driver & Team Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate driver performance, monitoring driving behavior and safety records.
- Fuel & Cost Optimization: Track fuel consumption, control operational costs, and manage vendor relationships for spare parts and vehicle maintenance.
- GPS & Telematics Monitoring: Utilize vehicle tracking systems to optimize delivery routes, prevent unauthorized usage, and monitor driver behavior in real time.
General Eligibility Requirements
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive hands-on experience in a similar role.
- Location: Based in or willing to work in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
- Attributes: Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
