JOB DETAILS:
To serve as the face of the company onboard, ensuring passengers have a safe, comfortable, and pleasant journey. The Bus Hostess is responsible for passenger welfare, onboard safety briefings, and providing high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Passenger Welcome & Assistance: Greet passengers warmly upon boarding, assist with seating arrangements, and help with luggage storage (overhead bins or cargo holds).
- Safety Briefings: Deliver mandatory safety announcements (emergency exits, seatbelt usage, onboard rules) before departure and assist passengers during emergencies.
- Onboard Service: Distribute refreshments, blankets, or reading materials (where applicable). Maintain a clean and hygienic cabin environment throughout the journey.
- Customer Care: Attend to passenger inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally. Provide information regarding the route, stops, and estimated time of arrival.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor passenger behavior to ensure a safe and quiet environment. Report any suspicious activity, illness, or disruptive behavior to the Driver and management immediately.
- Inventory Management: Manage and track onboard supplies (water, snacks, first aid kits) and restock them after each trip.
- Communication: Coordinate with the Driver regarding traffic delays or passenger issues. Maintain clear communication with the dispatch team regarding trip status.
- First Aid: Provide basic first aid assistance to passengers in need and coordinate with emergency services if necessary.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; hospitality or customer service certification is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience as a flight attendant, hotel front desk staff, or customer service role is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong situational awareness, and conflict resolution skills.
- Appearance: Professional, well-groomed, and presentable appearance in company uniform.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and move through the aisle frequently. Ability to lift light luggage (up to [15-20] kg).
- Language: Fluency in [Local Language] and [Secondary Language] is an advantage.
