JOB DETAILS:
Mapinga Premium Foods Ltd is looking for an experienced, hands-on, and technically skilled Senior Technical Operator – Mechanical to join our operations team.
In this role, you will support the reliable operation of production machinery, execute preventive maintenance activities, identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and actively contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement across production operations.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Education: Diploma or degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of quality control or food safety experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Industry Standards: Practical experience implementing and enforcing ISO 22000 or ISO 9001; HACCP knowledge is essential.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Good understanding of GMP, GHP, product traceability, and laboratory testing.
- Practical understanding of equipment maintenance, safety procedures, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, and 5S.
- Bonus: Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

- Excellent analytical, reporting, and documentation capabilities.
- Strong team spirit and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
