JOB DETAILS:
The PR & Media Officer manages media relations and public image, securing positive coverage and managing press engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets.
- Draft press releases, media advisories, and statements.
- Pitch stories and coordinate interviews.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports.
- Manage press events and media logistics.
- Support crisis communications.
- Maintain a media contact database.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, PR, or related field.
- 3–5 years of media relations or PR experience.
- Strong writing, editing, and pitching skills.
- Existing media network preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
