JOB DETAILS:
The BAGAMOYO INSTITUTE OF ICT is seeking to hire a Receptionist – Admissions Support. This role is crucial for managing the front desk and providing essential support to the admissions department. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for prospective students and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and assisting visitors and students.
- Answering and directing phone calls.
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Providing administrative support to the admissions team.
- Maintaining a tidy and organized reception area.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A recognised Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Education, or equivalent qualification, in the relevant subject(s).
- Fluency in both spoken and written English, with excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated integrity, punctuality, accountability, and professionalism.
- Proactive, hardworking, innovative, and results-oriented.
- Strong command of subject content, modern learner-centred teaching methods, and effective assessment practices.
- God-fearing, patient, responsible, and genuinely committed to children's welfare.
- Applicants must not consume alcoholic beverages.
- Applicants must be 35 years old or below.
Experience:
- Proven teaching experience and a strong record of academic achievement will be added advantages.
