Operations & Guest Relations Coordinator
Location: Iyumbu, Dodoma
Business: Elim Homes – Furnished & Serviced Apartments
Expected start: November 2026
Elim Homes is a growing accommodation business offering three fully furnished serviced apartments in Iyumbu, Dodoma.
As we prepare for our official launch, we are looking for an honest, organised and proactive person to coordinate daily operations, deliver excellent guest experiences and actively attract bookings.
This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking responsibility and helping a small business grow.
Key responsibilities
- Manage guest enquiries, reservations, check-ins and check-outs.
- Promote the apartments through social media, WhatsApp Business and relevant accommodation platforms.
- Follow up enquiries and develop relationships with potential individual and corporate clients.
- Coordinate the housekeeper and security guard to keep the property clean, secure and ready for guests.
- Monitor supplies, inventory and maintenance needs, and follow up repairs.
- Maintain accurate booking, payment and expense records.
- Resolve routine guest concerns professionally and promptly.
- Provide the owner with concise updates on bookings, income, expenses and operational needs.
The person we are looking for
- Honest, dependable and accountable, with a strong sense of integrity.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Welcoming, professional and confident when communicating with guests.
- Resourceful, hardworking and committed to generating bookings.
- Comfortable using social media, WhatsApp Business, email and basic spreadsheets.
- Able to communicate effectively in English and Kiswahili.
- Based in Dodoma, or willing to relocate, and available to respond to guest needs, including some evenings and weekends.
Qualifications and experience
- A certificate or diploma in hospitality, business administration, marketing or a related field is desirable.
- Preferably 1–3 years of relevant experience in accommodation, customer service, sales, administration or small-business operations.
- Applicants with strong practical experience and demonstrated ability are encouraged to apply, even without the stated qualification.
- Experience promoting accommodation online will be an added advantage.

Remuneration
A starting salary appropriate to the role and the scale of the business will be discussed with shortlisted candidates. Please indicate your expected monthly salary.
