Zambia Cargo and Logistics Limited (ZCL) is a regional logistics service provider and wholly owned by the Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) through the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) with terminals in Tanzania (Dar Es Salaam), Walvis Bay (Namibia) and operating centre in Ndola, Zambia.

Zambia Cargo and Logistics (ZCL) is inviting applications from suitably qualified Tanzanians to be considered for employment to fill the vacant position listed hereunder;

1. Marketing officer – 1 post

(A) Required qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in marketing.

• Experience in digital marketing, social media management and content development.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing marketing campaigns.

• Proven experience in Customer engagement.

• Marketing experience in the Transport and Logistics Sector will be an added advantage.

(C) Duties and responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing plans and campaigns aligned with the Company’s strategic objectives and business targets.

• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, competitor activities and new business opportunities.

• Promote the Company’s logistics and cargo services to existing and prospective customers to support business growth.

• Develop and manage digital marketing activities, including social media, website content, email marketing and other relevant platforms.

• Develop engaging marketing content and coordinate the production of brochures, presentations, company profiles, promotional materials and other marketing communications.

• Support lead generation and customer acquisition initiatives in collaboration with the Commercial and Corporate Affairs team.

• Coordinate the Company’s participation in exhibitions, trade fairs, conferences, customer events and other promotional activities.

• Monitor customer feedback and marketing performance and prepare periodic reports with recommendations for improvement.

• Ensure consistent application of the Company’s brand identity and corporate communication standards across all marketing platforms and materials.

• Identify opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and other initiatives that enhance the Company’s visibility, market position and customer engagement.
