A well-established City Hotel in Dar es Salaam is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager for their 3.5 Star, mid-size City Hotel with 91 rooms, 60 All Suites, 3 Restaurants, 3 modern Conference Halls and a modern coffee shop.
The suitable candidate will be taking full responsibility for the property's day to day business revenues (Income & Expenditure), budgets and profitability by effectively planning, leading, organising and controlling all aspects of the approved strategic plan, marketing, budgets, finances, standards and maintenance.

Principal Responsibilities: To identify sales leads, pitch products and services to new Customers and maintain fruitful relationships with existing and new customers.
Job Specific Requirements:
- Critical success factors of the Hotel and Industry
- In-depth knowledge of Rooms Division and Food & Beverage Departments
- In-depth knowledge of Yield and Revenue Management

Job Experience:
Minimum 3 to 10 years experience in a managerial position in the Hotel industry or any other sector that provides service. This position is also open for candidates without hotel backgrounds but is aspiring to develop a career in the hospitality industry. Preference will be given to applicants who exhibit positive attitudes in Customer service fraternity.
