JOB DETAILS:
G4S Tanzania is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales to lead its commercial strategy and sales division for Integrated Security Solutions. Based in Dar es Salaam, the Head of Sales will drive business growth, identify new market opportunities, lead major bid negotiations, maintain high-level key account relationships, and direct the Sales and Call Centre teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Formulate, coordinate, and execute a comprehensive commercial sales strategy for G4S Tanzania aligned with corporate targets.
- Business Development & Bidding: Identify and pursue new B2B business opportunities through strategic prospecting, networking, and major tender responses.
- Commercial Negotiation: Lead high-value contract negotiations, manage pricing structures, oversee contract escalations, and mitigate commercial risk.
- Key Account Management: Maintain strong relationships with senior executives, manage customer retention programs, and ensure top-tier client satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Direct, recruit, mentor, and performance-manage the Sales and Call Centre teams to meet revenue and service targets.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting: Conduct competitor analysis, manage the sales pipeline, and deliver accurate monthly revenue forecasts to national and regional executive teams.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a senior sales leadership or commercial management role.
- Strong background in B2B service-led sales; experience within Integrated Security Solutions, technology services, or logistics is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional negotiation, commercial acumen, contract management, and persuasive communication skills.
- Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of driving sales pipeline growth and team development.
