Star Plus Logistics Express is looking for a motivated, confident and professional Communication Officer to join our team in Dar es Salaam.

Responsibilities or duties

• Handle day-to-day communication with customers and provide timely and accurate information.
• Respond to customer inquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, social media and other communication channels.
• Follow up on customer requests, feedback and complaints and ensure they are handled professionally.
• Maintain good relationships with customers and support a positive customer experience.
• Assist in promoting the company's services and communicating company updates to customers.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth flow of information.
• Represent the company professionally when dealing with customers and the public.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Certificate or Diploma in Mass Communication, Communication Studies, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and Swahili, both spoken and written.
• Good customer service skills with a professional and friendly approach.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with social media platforms.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience needed

• Previous experience in communication, customer service, marketing or logistics will be an added advantage.
