BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
HR World on behalf of our reputable client are looking for Business Development Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES;

  • Lead teams to achieve budget with cost, time effective manners.
  • Preparation of commercial aspects of proposals and tenders to various clients and closure of sales opportunities.
  • Promote and sell all industrial services portfolio in statutory and non-statutory services rendered in Manufacturing, Mining, Energy, Infrastructure and other relevant industry sectors.
  • Identify investment opportunities and submit a related business case for management
  • Competition: understand the competitive landscape, their strengths and weaknesses, position in the market, key staff, client profiles, locations, services etc.
  • Coordination with government agencies.
  • Understand and react to government polices relevant to the business or location and to put in place the needed local processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the internal business units for customer account management activities.
  • Present Industry and environment Services portfolio to potential clients through direct communication in telephone calls, video conference, emails and face to face meetings
  • Reinforce the respect and implementations of integrity code in work practices.
  • Participate and find opportunities in Industry-specific seminars, conference and webinars.
  • Preparation of commercial aspects of proposals and tenders to various clients and closure of sales opportunities.
  • Responsible for achievement of individual assigned sales targets.
  • Upgrade the team, technical, administration and QS.
  • Evaluate the business statistics on operation, files and client’s relationship.
  • Define training needs to increase team knowledge through HR training program.
  • Manage all the staffing activities in Industrial business line in conjunction with HR.
  • Ensure the Quality Management System of the Business is properly defined, maintained and reviewed as required within the business.

*Qualifications*

  • Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering/electrical /civil engineering completed by another qualification in sales and marketing
  • Master’s degree in business, Management, or related field is a plus.
  • At least 3 years’ sales experience in a Technical Environment, preferably from the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) Industry or from a mechanical/electrical or civil EPC contractor in Tanzania
  • Minimum 7 years proven management experience with people management skills of a medium to large size organization.
