Overview:

The mission of the Department of Health Vaccination (DOHV) is to protect and improve the health of the people of across the world . Immunizations are a cornerstone of public health work to reduce morbidity and mortality from vaccine preventable disease.
This Project Health Services Consultant 3 (HSC 3), serves as the senior health consultant for activities supporting COVID vaccine distribution, vaccine administration operations, and coordination with partners involved in COVID response and vaccine administration.

Duties Include
Providing senior health services expertise on COVID vaccine distribution and administration, best practices in vaccine operations. As a subject matter expert, providing technical assistance, consultation and training to internal and external stakeholders.
Providing independent technical assistance and consultation to Local Health Jurisdictions (LHJs), providers, and state staff on best practices in COVID vaccine distribution and administration assurance.
Providing technical assistance and support to LHJs, community-based organizations, and other partners on the implementation of mass vaccination plans and efforts as assigned.
Developing and implementing health policies and procedures related to COVID vaccine operations for internal and external stakeholders.
Participating in program planning and evaluation of health service delivery products.
Independently writing, coordinating the development, and assuring accuracy and distribution of vaccine operations communication materials (e.g., key messages, fact sheets, newsletter articles, vaccine management forms and others).
Using calculations and intermediate spreadsheet skills to develop and monitor project goals, capture and track data, and display data using tables, graphs or other visual representations of the data.
Leading provider and LHJ customer satisfaction efforts, including development of tools, analysis of data, and the proposal and implementation of quality improvement strategies (e.g. include Provider Satisfaction Survey, provider exit interview survey).

Minimum Qualifications:
A Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in sociology , business administration, education, community development or any related field, preferred
Ability to work a flexible schedule, to include evenings and weekends, in order to meet the needs of
community residents and be present at community functions
Excellent communication and organization skills
Knowledge of community development issues, and experience working in diverse communities including
multiple generations (seniors, youth, working adults), as well as across ethnic and racial communities
Strong command of MS Office tools including Power Point, Excel and Word
High energy, initiative, and creativity are desired

Remuneration will be in line with the set procedures of the organizations which consider the experience and qualifications of the candidate (USD 2500-3500)
