JOB DETAILS:
Our client, one of the leading Gold refinery plant located in Tanzania, is looking for a Security Manager
The security manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the company security and safety functions for employees and customers. You will be responsible for strategic planning, organizing, communications and interface with management, employees and law enforcement. Position includes supervising of security team members and assistance with scheduling and personnel issues. .

Job Responsibilities and Duties
• Thorough knowledge of security threats and proficiency with available protective security systems
• Initiate and perform security investigations, guidelines training sessions, evaluations and inspections
• Manage the budget for security operations within an organization & Control security department spending
• Responsible for security resources & equipments maintenance and calibration follow Ups

Security Manager Skills and Qualifications
• Diploma or Bachelor degree in criminology, law or equivalent incl. any security certifications
• Previous experience working as a security manager, security officer or other security-related jobs in mining or extractive industry only
• Ability to pay close attention to detail, monitor surveillance systems and respond to emergency situations
• Strong communication, computer, security technology knowledge, administrative and leadership skills
