JOB DETAILS:
The Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO) is seeking to fill 3 positions for Engineer Grade II – Mechanical.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in repair and maintenance of power generation machines;
- Assist to plan, design, inspect and maintain all mechanical works in the Company;
- Assist in designing, monitoring, inspecting, testing and diagnosing problems and causes in improving and maintaining mechanical systems.
- Assist in developing, co-ordinating implementation of mechanical repair and maintenance plans;
- Assist to carry out research/studies and recommend on improvement of business process technologies and best practices in consideration of changing technology environment.
- Perform any other related duties from time to time as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications
Holder of Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or relevant qualification from a recognized Institution. Must be registered as Graduate Engineer with ERB.

Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
