PM Luxury Hotel is a luxury hotel situated near nane nane bus stop in Mbeya Tanzania. The hotel is looking for young energetic personnel to fill position of Hotel Head Chef (HC) (1 Post)

HC Job Descriptions

  1. Design menus that enhance customers’ culinary experience while keeping up high quality.
  2. Submit cost proposals for menu items.
  3. Create and test new menus.
  4. Provide feedback regarding the food quality of large bulk purchases.
  5. Ensure that all food preparation is in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  6. Design standardized food presentation guidelines for each dish.
  7. Monitor inventory levels of commonly used items.
  8. Look for ways to reduce spoilage of infrequently used items.
  9. Train, and mange staff regularly.

Qualification

  1. 5 year(s) experience as a Head Chef.
  2. Ability to track expenses and manage a budget.
  3. Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  4. Team player
  5. Good time-management skills
  6. Great interpersonal and communication skills
  7. Strong passion for the art of food design.
  8. Culinary Diploma or equivalent experience.
