JOB DETAILS:
Head of School - Aga Khan Mzizima Secondary School ( International Section )
High Level Position Summary The Head of School will have overall responsibility for all matters related to the school and will be the final sign-off at the school level.
The Head of School will be a visionary leader who will exercise an ethical and moral leadership to develop the school into a school of choice in Dar es Salaam, improving the positioning of the school in the market by enhancing academic, co- curricular, sports and leadership program as well as developing a school culture that emphasizes ethics and values, pluralism, spirituality and excellence.

The requirements
• Completed Master's degree in Education from a reputable, accredited university; and two year’s relevant work experience thereafter.
• At least five years' experience, with demonstrable achievements of leading a Grade 6-12 reputable international school; the experience and drive to lead an intense school improvement and change process and resilience when experiencing difficulties inherent in an emerging system;
• IBDP training done over the past three years related to leadership, management & evaluations
• IBDP training done over the past three years training for TOK, Extended Essay
• IBDP training done over the past three years for programme leader
• Proven track record in the effective and efficient management of fiscal and human resources;
• Experience with the International Baccalaureate Curriculum Diploma Programme and / or the IGCSE;
• Excellent team-building skills, with proven experience in leading, motivating and empowering teams;
• Experience in Africa is desirable
